S.N. Lakshminarayana (85), retired Librarian and Documentation-cum-Reference Officer at University of Mysore and a resident of V.V. Mohalla, opposite Vontikoppal Post Office, passed away in the wee hours of today in city.

He leaves behind his wife Bhagyamma, three sons, a daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

He was also the Founder-President of Mysore University Non-Teaching Staff Association and Mysore University House Building Co-operative Society. After his retirement, he was serving as the Hon. Treasurer of Vidyavardhaka Sangha.

Last rites were performed at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam this afternoon, according to sources.
