S.R. Mahesh advises T. Narasipur Inspector to mend ways

September 16, 2026

Mysuru: Former Minister and JD(S) leader S.R. Mahesh has advised T. Narasipur Inspector Dhananjaya to correct his behaviour following the controversy over his alleged use of abusive language against Hindu activists.

The Inspector has come under criticism over the alleged remarks made during a meeting with Hindu activists regarding the route of the Ganesha procession.

Addressing a press conference at his office in Mysuru this morning, Mahesh said, “Suspending Inspector Dhananjaya is not a major matter, but he must correct his behaviour.”

“The remarks were inappropriate and derogatory. Had he exercised better control over his language, the matter would not have escalated into such a major issue at the State and national levels,” Mahesh added.
