Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman to tour district from tomorrow

Karnataka State Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman M. Shivanna, will undertake tour of the district from tomorrow (Feb. 26) till Mar. 1.

Shivanna, who will arrive in city tomorrow at 9.30 am, will participate in the 13th anniversary celebration of Kannada magazine ‘Kaustubha’ at The Institute of Engineers on JLB Road at 10.30 am and will stay overnight at Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road.

On Feb. 27 (Sunday), the Chairman will hold discussions with Pourakarmikas at 11 am. On Feb. 28 at 9 am, he will visit the Pourakarmika Colony at Hebbal and here grievances from the residents and at 3.30 pm, he will visit the Manual Scavenger Colony at Marappana-katte in Hunsur taluk and will hold a meeting pertaining to the problems faced by the colony residents. On Mar. 1 at 12 noon, Shivanna will leave for the headquarters, according to a press release from the Karnataka State Safi Karmachari Commission Secretary.
