Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman to tour District today and tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman M. Shivanna will be on a two-day tour of the district from today.

Shivanna, who will arrive in the city from Bengaluru at 6.30 pm today, will stay for the night at Jaladarshini Guest House.

Tomorrow (Jan.29), Shivanna will visit Pourakarmika Colony at Mandi Mohalla at 9 am, following which he will hold a press meet on Pourkarmika welfare measures taken by the Government at 11 am at Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road.

Thereafter, he will hold a meeting with Pourakarmika leaders at Jaladarshini, following which he will take part in the programme to felicitate retiring  Pourakarmikas at the MCC premises at 3 pm. He will return to Bengaluru on Jan. 30.
