Mysuru: As part of its ‘Sahitya Chavadi’ programme, Kalasuruchi has organised an interaction on ‘Vikram Hatwar’s stories and poems’ at Suruchi Rangamane in Kuvempunagar tomorrow (June 28) at 10.30 am.
Kusuma Ayarahalli and Sindhu Rao will take part in the event.
Vikram Hatwar was born in 1982 in a small village called Bijadi in Kundapur taluk. He lived his life in the streets of Shivajinagar, in the rhythm of the Yakshagana chants on the coast, in the lap of the Tunga of Tirthahalli and has travelled to Bengaluru, Kushalnagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, New York and London. He is a Software Engineer by profession.

Interested in cultural thought, criticism, philosophy, music, and cinema, he has lectured at many conferences. He has written stories, screenplays and dialogues for Kannada films. He is engaged in book publishing through ‘Prakriti’ Publications.
He has received the Yuva Puraskar from the Central Sahitya Academy for his collection of stories ‘Zero and One’. He has been honoured with the ‘Aralu Sahitya’ award by the Kannada Sahitya Parishat.
