Writer Dr. V. Munivenkatappa, a resident of Kuvempunagar, who was conferred ‘Sahityashri Award-2017’ by Karnataka Sahitya Academy at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bengaluru recently, is seen with Kannada and Culture Minister Umashree, Director N. R. Vishu Kumar, Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr. Manu Baligar and litterateur Prof. Aravind Malagatti. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.
