Sakala Programme: Mysuru district in second place

Mysuru district has secured 2nd place at the State-level in  April 2026 in implementing the Sakala Programme, which was launched by the BJP Government as a delivery mechanism of hundreds of civil services quickly and efficiently within a specific time-frame including income certificate, caste certificate, lineage certificate among others.

Mysuru, which is also the home district of CM Siddaramaiah, has achieved this by clearing 1,20,456 applications in a special campaign during the month of April. A total of 1,19,801 applications were received during the month of April of which 9,937  were rejected. Total of 98.34% applications have been cleared.
