Sir,
As the curtains came down to yet another year of Mysuru Dasara celebration, I would like to take this opportunity to salute our Traffic Cops.
It’s been nearly two decades since the time I have visited Mysuru during Dasara and I was amazed to see a complete changeover in the celebration pattern. Jumboo Savari being the grand finale, Mysuru was flocked with visitors from across the country in large numbers.
The entire city was decked up with beautiful lights and a variety of installations in all major junctions which was a treat to watch.
In all these celebrations and grandeur, what puzzled me was the Cops managing such a huge crowd. Entire credit should go to our Traffic Police who managed all major junctions and events tirelessly with minimum chaos.
On behalf of all Mysureans, I would like to thank our Cops for doing their job diligently so we could enjoy without any hassle.
I am today putting down on paper the new age Dasara memories I enjoyed during my stay in Mysuru and would cherish till my next visit.
