September 3, 2019

Mysuru, Sept.3 (PM&US)- Anveshana Seva Trust had organised a function on Aug.26 to mark the birth centenary of columnist late Dr. H.S. Krishnaswamy Iyengar (HSK) at the Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road here.

Inaugurating the programme, former Minister P.G.R. Sindhia recalled that HSK had a lot of foresight on economic matters and would have been a good guide for national economy system. He said that HSK’s input on solving unemployment problems, developing education, agriculture and commerce sectors were remarkable.

Referring to the current political scenario, Sindhia regretted that rampant mud-slinging by ruling and Opposition parties against each other had degraded the morale of politics which is detrimental to a healthy society.
