Mysore/Mysuru: The 232nd Annual Sandal Urus Shariff of Hazarath Tipu Sultan Shaheed, organised by Tipu Sultan Welfare & Urus Committee, Lashkar Mohalla, will be held on June 6 at 11 am at Meelad Park on Ashoka Road in city, said Committee Secretary Afroz Pasha.

The celebrations will be held under the guidance of Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff. Sri Basavalinga Swamiji  and Bishop of Mysuru will grace the event.

MLAs Tanveer Sait and K. Harishgowda, Dr. Mehboob Khan, High Court Advocate M.S. Mukarram, Anwar Pasha, Secretary of Muslim Girls Orphanage Management Committee Abdul Azeez Chand, Majeed Ahmed, former Corporator Rafeeq Ahmed, Social Worker Mohammed Khaleel Ur Rehaman, President of Chishtiya Foundations Group Mohammed Musheer Chishti, Radiulla Khan, Hazarath Moulana Sufi Syed Mukthiar Ahmed Noorie Baba, Hazarath Sufi Wali Baba, Tabraiz Sait and other prominent persons along with Ulmas, Fukras from Bengaluru  and Mysuru will attend.

At 9 am on June 6, breakfast (tabruk) has been arranged at Allah Malik House, Ashoka Road West Cross. The function will be followed by Fatha Khani, Duwa and Sandal procession, through Ashoka Road, St. Philomena’s Church Circle, Fountain Circle, Bada Makan, Tipu Circle, Masjid Allaha and join Tipu State Wakf Sandal procession.
