Sandalwood tree stolen from MLA Appachu Ranjan’s estate

Madikeri:  Miscreants have chopped and taken away a sandalwood tree grown in the estate of MLA Appachu Ranjan at Kumbur in Somwarpet taluk.

The theft took place when there was no one at the house in the estate. A case has been registered at Somwarpet Police Station and the Forest Department officials, who visited the spot, conducted an inspection and have also registered a case.
