Mysuru, Oct. 31- Seven personalities from different fields have been selected for Sandhya Suraksha Award-2025, given by Sandhya Suraksha Trust in association with Zilla Brahmana Mahasabha, Mysuru and Shakambari Dharmika Kendra, Mysuru.

The awardees are: Dr. B.V. Sheshadri, Dr. Pushpa Iyengar, senior journalist  Amshi Prasannakumar, City Congress leader Vikrant P. Devegowda, Kannada Kalakoota President M. Chandrashekar, Ranganath Mysuru and Kannada activist Tejesh Lokesh Gowda.

The award will be conferred at a programme to take place at Shakambari Dharmika Kendra, Hunasemara bus stop, Devayyanahundi, at 10 am on Nov. 2. The event will also feature celebration of 20th anniversary of the Trust and hoisting of Kannada flag. Former District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna, Mysuru Shiva temple President H.G. Parashivappa and social worker Mangala Jois will be the chief guests.

MLA T.S. Srivatsa will hoist the flag. Social worker K. Raghuram Vajpayee will be the guest of honour.  Former MLA M.K. Somashekar, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal and Kannada activist Muguru Nanjundaswamy will present the award.
