‘Sangeeta Habba’ by Bhagini Seva Samaja

Bhagini Seva Samaja, Mysuru, will be holding a week-long ‘Sangeeta Habba’  on the occasion of Ramanavami from Apr. 9 to Apr. 15. Sri Vishwesha Teertha  Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt will grace the occasion.

The music programmes will be held at Bhagini Seva Samaja School premises, near Ballal Circle, Krishnamurthypuram.  The programme schedule is as follows:

Apr. 9 at 6.30 pm: Vighnesh Eshwar from Chennai will perform accompanied by Paroor Ananta Krishnan on violin and Arjun Kumar on mridanga.

Apr. 10 at 6.30 pm: Vrinda Acharya will present a vocal recital accompanied by Paroor Ananta Krishnan on violin, Radhesh on mridanga and M.A. Manjunath on ghata.   

Apr. 11 at 6.30 pm: Balu Masti will render a veena recital with H.L. Shiva Shankar Swamy on mridanga and M.S. Jayaram on ghata.

Apr. 12 at 6.30 pm: Kanchana Sri Ranjani and Shruti Ranjani will give a vocal recital with Mathur Srinidhi on violin and Jayachandra on mridanga.

Apr. 13 at 6.30 pm: Herambha and Hemantha will present a flute duet with Mathur Srinidhi on violin and Akshaya Anand on mridanga.

Apr. 14  at 6.30 pm: Sangeeta Shivakumar from Chennai will present a vocal recital with Vittahala Rangan on violin, Anoor Ananta Krishna Sharma on mridangam, S. Manjunath on ghata and Sunad Anoor on khanjira.

Apr.15 at 6.30 pm:  Mysore M. Nagaraj and Dr. Manjunath will give a violin duet with Srimushnam Araja Rao on mridanga and G.S. Ramanujam on ghata.

These programmes will be preceded by  devotional songs and bhajans everyday at 6 pm.
