‘Sangha Darshana’ a walkthrough RSS’ centenary journey

August 31, 2025

Mysuru: As part of the centenary celebrations of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), ‘Sangha Darshana,’ a unique walkthrough has been organised at the premises of Madhava Krupa, RSS Mysuru Shakha Office on JLB Road here recently. It is also the special attraction of this year’s Mysuru Ganeshotsava at Madhava Krupa.

This walkthrough makes patriotism flow like a spark through the veins of every visitor and introduces the universal form of the Sangh. It has been designed in Kannada and English languages, with illustrations to showcase the universal form of the Sangh. The details of the path travelled by the Sangh over a hundred years create in every visitor the feeling that “We are all Hindus –                                                              We are all one.”

The journey

Founded by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, on Vijayadashami in 1925, the “universal form” of the Sangh is displayed here. In the past 100 years, from villages to cities, from education to service activities, from eradication of untouchability to national unity, the Sangh’s vow of service has been highlighted.

From wars to Covid, in accidents, wars and natural calamities, the service of the Sangh’s Swayamsevaks is depicted.

Pictorial display

This pictorial exhibition, in both Kannada and English, also provides information about Sangh that began with the goal of character-building — the Shakha system, the self-sacrificing life of Pracharaks, the network of service institutions, all are included.

“We are all one”

Through this walkthrough, the century-long journey of the Sangh conveys a single message: “We are all Hindus – We are all one.” It instils in people the feeling that character-building is the path to nation-building, and service is the true goal of life.

The Fortune of Mysureans

Entrepreneur and philanthropist  Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy, who inaugurated the walkthrough said that it is the fortune of Mysuru city to have the opportunity to witness this special exhibition as part of Madhava Krupa Ganeshotsava.

RSS Samparka Pramukh Darshan Raj and Sanghachalak R. Vasudev Bhat were present.
