Mysuru: The NSS Unit of Sapient College, Mysuru, in association with Lions Blood Centre Jeevadhara had organised a blood donation camp on Aug. 14 at the College campus  on KRS Road.

The camp was organised with the objective of encouraging the spirit of voluntary blood donation among students, faculty members and staff, while creating awareness about the importance of donating blood and contributing to the well-being of the community. Students, teaching and non-teaching members of the college who were willing and eligible to donate blood were encouraged to participate in the camp.  In all, 86 donors came forward to donate blood.

Speaking on the occasion, the College Principal, Dean and the Administrator appreciated the volunteers and donors for their valuable contribution and emphasised that a single act of blood donation can help save lives.

As a gesture of appreciation and recognition of their valuable contribution, certificates were  presented to the donors.

Sapient College NSS Unit expressed its gratitude to Lions Blood Centre Jeevadhara for its support in conducting the camp .
