Mysore/Mysuru: A. Chandana, a student from GB Saragur of H.D. Kote taluk, who had recently secured second place at the National-level Kala Utsav, has been selected for ‘Bala Gourava’ Award instituted by Karnataka Balavikas Academy.

Karnataka Balavikas Academy has been conferring ‘Bala Gourava’ Award on children of the State, who have excelled in science, sports, acting, arts, music, dance, handicrafts, writing and similar fields at  Taluk, District, State, National or International level. 

One each from four divisions of the State are selected  for the Award.
