Sarfunnisa (83), a resident of N.R. Mohalla, passed away here yesterday. She leaves behind four sons, including Mysuru City Youth Congress former President Shaukath Ali, four daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Muslim burial ground on Mysuru-Bengaluru Road this morning, according to family sources.

MLAs A.H. Vishwanath and Tanveer Sait, former MLA Vasu, KEA Chairman Abdullah were among those who paid their last respects.
