‘Sarvashreshta Kalaposhaka’ award conferred on art patron K.V. Murthy

Mysore/Mysuru:  Vasundhara Performing Arts Centre (VPAC), Mysuru, had organised a programme to confer ‘Sarvashreshta Kalaposhaka’ award on renowned Civil Engineer, Industrialist, Promoter of Performing Arts and Social  Worker K.V. Murthy, for his yeomen service to art and culture. Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy of VPAC along with R. Guru of N. Ranga Rao & Sons; Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoi of Mangalore Ganesh Beedi Works and VPAC Trustees conferred the award at an event held at  Jaganmohan Palace auditorium in city recently. 

K.V. Murthy was honoured with a shawl, a garland, Mysore peta, a memento, citation on a silver plaque and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 along with the award.

Savita Ramesh, Director, Kaynes Technologies; Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar , Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore; Sai Venkatesh, President, Karnataka Nrutya Kala Parishat, Bengaluru; Shashirekha and others were present.
