Savitha Samaja members stage protest against H.D. Kumaraswamy

Mysore/Mysuru: Members of Karnataka Rajya Savitha Samaja Meesalathi Horata Samithi, Mysuru, staged a protest near Gandhi Square in city this morning against former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy (HDK) for insulting the community.

The protesters condemned H.D. Kumaraswamy for allegedly insulting Savitha Samaja community while criticising the Centre’s Agnipath Military Recruitment Scheme during his recent interaction with the presspersons.

Derogatory statements against the community are not acceptable. HDK’s remarks against the community have hurt the people of the community, they said and demanded an apology from the former CM.

Samithi State President Tiptur Nagaraj, District Hon. President V. Manjunath, District President Rajesh, City President P. Lokesh Kumar, leaders C. Shankar, M. Ramesh, Dhanraj, Rangaswamy and others took part in the protest.
