SBS-MKU Genomics Award for Dr. Shobith Rangappa

Mysuru: Dr. Shobith Rangappa, Director of Cancer Research Institute, Adichunchanagiri University, Nagamangala in Mandya district, has been conferred ‘SBS-MKU Genomics Award’ for the year 2023, for his contribution to Applied and Systematic Biology, by Biotech Research Society of India.

The Award carries a cash prize, memento and certificate. The award presentation ceremony was held in the presence of Prof. (retd.) T.P. Singh from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and other scientists, at Dr. D.Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, Pune, recently.

Dr. Shobith has so far published 100 research papers and holds eight patents in Cancer Research.
