Schevaran – JSS STU launch online ESG Certification Course

Mysore/Mysuru: Schevaran Laboratories Pvt. Ltd, Hebbal Industrial Area in city, has launched ‘Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Certification Course’ online to create and build sustainability professionals to achieve ‘Net Zero’ goal across the sector.

This programme in collaboration with Cleanfix-Schevaran AWE (Academy for Workplace Excellence) and JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU) was launched on World Environment Day, at JSS Golden Jubilee Seminar Hall.

Vice-Chancellor of JSS STU Dr. A.N. Santhosh Kumar, who presided over the launch session, insisted on giving a thrust to such initiatives, which will play a significant role in conserving nature for posterity.

Managing Director of Schevaran Laboratories Sam Cherian Kumbakattu was the chief guest while Director of Cleanfix-Schevaran AWE Prof. Basavaraj and Consultant-Sustainability Professional Keerthi D’Souza were guests of honour.

In-charge Principal of JSS STU Prof. Nataraj, HoD of Environmental Engineering Dr. Sadhashiva Murthy and Senior Consultant-ESG Auditor Saravanan were present.

The duration of the course is 10 weeks and over 30 including students and professionals have enrolled for the same.

Sessions are delivered by ESG consultants and senior professors from JSS STU. Case studies will be discussed by panel members to address different Industries.
