The Social Welfare Department, Mysuru taluk, has invited applications from children of parents who are engaged in unhygienic occupation to avail pre-matric scholarships under Post-matric Scholarship Scheme for the year 2022-23.Candidates belonging to SC community are eligible to apply. The annual income of the family of students studying between 1st std and 8th std. must not exceed Rs. 6 lakh while for those studying between 9th std. and 10th std. it should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh. To avail Post-matric scholarship, the annual income of the family of students should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.

The Aadhaar card of the candidates must be linked to their bank accounts. Applications may be submitted by logging on to ssp.karnataka.gov.in before Dec. 31, according to a press release from the Department Grade-1 Assistant Director.
