Mysore/Mysuru: Two office-bearers of Mysuru District Scouts and Guides — P. Vishwanath, District Commissioner and Dr. K.B. Gurumurthy, Treasurer — have bagged the prestigious ‘Silver Elephant’ Award while another member Abdul Jameel, District Secretary, has bagged ‘Bar 2 Silver Star’ Award, given by National Unit of Scouts and Guides. Vishwanath, city’s first Mayor, is currently serving as Secretary of Vidyavardhaka Sangha.
