Now, that the Urban Property Ownership Record (UPOR) is becoming an important document in property matters, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) should make it mandatory for property owners to seed the UPOR, Aadhaar and PAN numbers in the property tax system.

When I went to collect my UPOR Property  Card, the staff asked me to produce Aadhaar Card. They must take it forward and have the Aadhaar and PAN numbers seeded in the UPOR.

Once the UPOR is seeded in property tax system, Aadhaar and PAN can be matched up and authenticated. Subsequently, the UPOR gets seeded into the Registered Deeds in  Sub-Registrar Office records.
