Mysuru: Budding writer and Marimallappa PU College student M.S. Arjun has been selected to chair the one-day District Children’s Literary Meet to be organised by the District Kannada Sahitya Parishat at Kalamandira  here on Sept. 12.

Arjun is the son of M.S. Shivakumar and S.H. Latha couple of Malaganakere in Periyapatna Taluk. Arjun had earlier chaired sessions at Dasara Yuva Kavigoshti, Alvas Vidyarthi Siri and the State-level Children’s Literary Meet held at Adichunchanagiri Mutt.

His collection of poems titled ‘Iruve’ has been published by Sapna Book House.

He was conferred ‘Outstanding Talent Award’ for creative writing at the ‘Kalashri’ camp organised by Bal Bhavan Society.
