Selected for Basava Rashtreeya Award

Bengaluru – The State government has announced that this year the prestigious Basava Rashtreeya Parashasti will be conferred on social activist Sindhutai Sapkal of Pune in Maharashtra, who is known for her work in raising orphaned children in the country.

The State Government has also announced the two  theatre awards of the State — Gubbi Veeranna award to Chindodi Srikantesh and B.V. Karanth Award to Srinivas  G. Kappanna.
