R. Nischal, a student of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Mysuru, has been selected to represent Karnataka in the National Cricket  Tournament to take place in Bihar’s Patna from Jan. 16.

Son of newspaper distributor and BJP leader Ramesh, Nischal was felicitated at the residence of veteran writer Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) on Friday as part of National Youth Day marking the 161st birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Writer Dr. CPK, Mysuru District Vokkaligara Sangha Director A. Ravi, Nammuru Nammoru Samaja Seva Trust President Beedanahalli Satish Gowda and BJP leader Kumar Gowda were present on the occasion.
