Mysuru: S. Samarth, a Grade 10 student of JSS Public School, won a silver medal in the 800 mts run at the U-17 Cluster-Level Athletics Meet organised by CBSE in Raichur recently. Following his achievement Samarth was selected for the National-level Athletics Meet to be held in Patiala, Punjab, from Oct.15 to 20.

Additionally, B. Khushi, also a Grade 10 student, won bronze medals in both shot put and discus throw events in U-17 Girls’ category.
