Selected for Puttashri Samman

Hemanth Joshi of Dharwad has been conferred ‘Puttashri Samman’ award instituted by Sri Guru Puttaraja Sangeetha Sabha, Sharadadevinagar 1st Stage in city, in the name of Padma Bhushan Dr. M. Puttaraja Gawai. Hemanth is a child Tabla artiste and has performed at many prestigious music concerts. Award will  be presented at ‘Bhairavadinda Bhairavi’ Music Festival to be organised in memory of Pt. Dr. Puttaraja Gawai at Ganabharathi, Veene Seshanna Bhavan, Kuvempunagar on Dec.2.
