Artville, one of Mysuru’s first Green Businesses, co-founded by Aishwarya Sunaad (19 years), K.M. Kaushal (22 years) and V. Monish (18 years), has been selected from applications across the world to attend the Singapore International Foundation’s (SIF) Global Young Social Entrepreneurs’ (YSE) Meet in Singapore from March 15 to 18, to pitch the business idea for an 8-month mentorship with Harvard and MNCs like Ernst and Young, with a scale up investment of 20,000 dollars.
Launched in 2010, the YSE programme inspires, equips and enables youth of different nationalities to embark on social enterprises in Singapore and beyond. The programme also seeks to build a global network of social entrepreneurs from which the power of ideas, know-how and resources can be harnessed to enrich lives and effect positive change for a better world.
Earlier, in October 2016, Artville was the Indian delegation and the youngest of all delegates, to attend the Asia-Europe Youth Entrepreneurial Meet — for the ASEM youth from 54 countries — organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, Republic of Indonesia where it was placed second after Malaysia amongst the top 5 Grande Finalists which also included China, Czecho-Slovakia, and Indonesia at the Parliament House in Jakarta.
