Selected for K.M. Karanth Award

K. Jayaprakash Rao, Media Advisor, Mysuru City Police Wing, has been selected for ‘K.M. Karanth Award’ instituted by Kundha Prabha. The award will be presented at a function to be held on Jan. 21 at Rotary Lakshminarasimha Kalamandira  premises of Government PU College in Kundapur, according to Kundha Prabha U.S. Shenoy. Jayaprakash Rao has worked as a journalist in Manipal, as a bank officer, as an officer of R&D Wing of Defence Sector, Union Government and has organised several training camps for youth. He is also a guest faculty at Karnataka Police Academy and Police Training School.
