Selected for Natl.-level Handball

Mysuru: Rotary  Mysore  Midtown had organised a  State-level Handball Selection in association with Special Olympics Bharat-Karnataka (SOBK) at Rotary Midtown Academy, Hootagalli, for specially-abled  students. Rtn. Narendra Babu (President, Rotary  Mysore  Midtown) inaugurated the event by throwing the ball.

In all, there were 54 participants from 17 Special schools  of nine districts including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Belagaavi, Ballari, Kodagu and Bengaluru.

Rtn. A.R. Alagappan (Chairman, Rotary Midtown  Academy) presented the medals for selected boys. Chaithra Mohan (President, Inner Wheel Midtown)  presented the medals for selected girls. Out of 54 participants, 10 boys and 10 girls are selected for the National-level Handball which is to be held in Punjab soon.
