Mysuru: Rotary Mysore Midtown has selected Chaya Nanjappa, Founder and Managing Director of Nectar Fresh, for this year’s Best Industrialist Award.

Satheesh Kumar, Vice-President (Operations), Rane (Madras) Ltd., Mysuru, will present the Rotary Best Industrialist Award to Chaya this evening (Jan. 24) at Rotary Centre, JLB Road, at 7 pm.

The award is sponsored by Rtn. P.K. Ramakrishna, an Industrialist and Member of Rotary Mysore Midtown.

Nectar Fresh, backed by Khadi and Village Industry Board, has its unit in Srirangapatna, Mandya district. It  offers various products like Honey, Jams, Sauces, Chia seeds and Natural vinegar.

A recipient of various awards like CNBC-TV18 and Women Entrepreneur Award in 2014-2015, Chaya was also honoured by Indian Federation of Culinary Association for breaking the monopoly of the international brands.
