Mysuru: Bharata Moolanivasigala Samskruthi, Sahitya Adyayana and Samshodhana Samsthe will be organising Bali Chakravarthi Smaranothsava – 2017 on Oct. 20.
The members have organised a cultural procession in city from Kote Maramma Temple (Mysore Palace) to Town Hall at 9.30 am on that day where the stage prog. will be held. This will be followed by a seminar on Bali Chakravarthi. Sri Nidumamidi Veerabhadra Chennamalla Swamiji will inaugurate. Dr. C.S. Dwarkanath, State Backward Classes Commission former Chairman Karnataka and Thinker Dr. Banjagere Jayaprakash will deliver lectures. Former Mayor Purushotham will be the chief guest. Urilingapeddi Mutt Seer Bahujansri Jnana Prakash Swamiji will preside.
Later, singers Hanasoge Somashekar, Lakshmiram, Amma Ramachandra and Narayan will render revolutionary songs. The afternoon session will witness High Court Advocate H.S. Mohan Kumar, Maharaja’s College Professor Dr. V. Shanmugam and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre Co-ordinating Officer Dr. S. Narendrakumar delivering lectures. Dalit community leaders Harihara Anandaswamy and Shantharaju will be the special invitees. Prof. B.P. Maheshchandra Guru will preside over the session.
