Send-off to transferred Judges

Mysore/Mysuru: Judges of the City and District Courts, who were transferred to other places in the State, were given a warm send-off at a function organised under the aegis of Mysuru Bar Association in the Association Office located in the premises of the District Law Courts Complex here yesterday.

The transferred Judges who were felicitated are: District Judges Saraswathi Vishnu Kosandar, Hosamane Pundalika, Mallikarjun and Doddegowda, Senior Grade Judges K. Vidya, A.M. Chaitra and Devaraj Bhute, Junior Grade Judges Geetha Kumber and Dhanavanthi.

Speaking on the occasion, Bar Association President Mahadevaswamy said as many as 86 lawyers passed away during the COVID pandemic. The loss of such a big number of advocates is painful, he rued.

Association Vice-President Puttasiddegowda, office-bearers Nagesh, Bhagyamma, Karnataka Bar Council Member Chandramouli and others were present on the occasion.
