Senior advocates get trapped in Court Lift, rescued

May 4, 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: In a heartening display of camaraderie and quick thinking, junior advocates came to the help of their senior counterparts who found themselves trapped in a malfunctioning lift at the Mysuru Law Courts Complex, Malalawadi in Jayanagar.

The incident unfolded yesterday morning as approximately 10 senior advocates were using the lift from the Court halls when a sudden power outage left them stranded. With communication cut off and tensions rising, the situation seemed dire. They tried their best to open the doors but in vain.

However, the timely intervention of junior lawyers proved to be a saving grace. Working together, they managed to free the trapped senior lawyers from the lift by opening the doors with an iron crowbar after approximately 20 minutes of confinement.

Expressing gratitude for the efforts of their junior colleagues, the senior lawyers commended their professionalism during the crisis.
