Mysuru: Six top officials, who are serving or had served the city in the past, are among the over twenty senior KAS Officers who have been recommended for elevation to the IAS, according to sources.

B.R. Poornima, Director, Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage at Mysuru, Yogesh and K.N. Gayatri, Additional Regional Commissioners (ARCs) at Mysuru, T. Venkatesh, Director of KSRTC at Bengaluru, Prabhu, Director, Social Security Scheme (Revenue) at Bengaluru and D. Bharathi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Hassan Zilla Panchayat (ZP) are the Senior KAS Officers whose names have been approved by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for elevation to the IAS (Indian Administrative Service). 

The notification regarding their elevation will be issued in a couple of days, it is learnt.
