‘Separate authority for Bengaluru health services to be launched soon’

Bengaluru: In a major decision concerning health sector, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that an exclusive authority for Bengaluru health services will be set up.

He was speaking after flagging off 120 new Emergency 108 Ambulances under Arogya Kavacha Scheme at Vidhana Soudha here yesterday.

Stressing on the need for bringing all health services in Bengaluru under the authority, Bommai highlighted the role of ambulances in providing emergency medical services during critical and crucial times. 

He further said that the scope of 108 ambulance services will be extended in the coming days.

Ministers Dr. K. Sudhakar, S.T. Somashekar, Byrathi Basavaraj, B. Sriramulu and Munirathna, BDA Chairman S.R. Vishwanath, MP P.C. Mohan and others were present.
