Serial thefts rock Shivalli in Mandya

Mandya: People of Shivalli in Mandya this morning woke up to serial thefts in shops, where burglars had made away with materials with thousands of rupees. The Police said that the incident might have taken place yesterday night.

The Police said that the burglars broke open the rolling shutters of a medial store, utensils shop and general stores belonging to Anil, Ramesh, Aradhya and Asha, all residents of Shivalli.

What is shocking is the fact that the burglars had managed the break open the shops which were located close to the Police Station. Shivalli Police have registered a case and are investigating.
