Service Organisations Cup cricket tourney from tomorrow

Mysore Round Table-21, the first Mysore Chapter of Round Table India, is hosting the Service Organisations Cup — Annual Tennis Ball Cricket tournament — for all service-oriented organisations on Dec. 8 and 9 at the University Sports Pavilion and the Railway Grounds.

In all, there are nine teams including other Mysore Round Tables, a team of Tablers from Shivamogga, Rotary Club of Mysore Midtown and Rotary Club of Mysore Central, last year’s winners Kalisu Foundation and PKS, a wild card non- registered service organisation invited by MRT 21.

The tournament will be on a league format followed by the semi-finals and the final.

Also, there are fun elements this time round with special prizes for best cheering squads for families of participants, on the 9th, at the Sports Pavilion.
