February 3, 2025

Mysuru: Superintendent of Police (SP) N. Vishnuvardhana has advised the aspirants of banking jobs to set an aim to achieve, which is very essential and focus on the same by making continuous efforts.

He was speaking after inaugurating the coaching camp for aspirants of banking jobs conducted by Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Competitive Exams Coaching Centre, here recently.

SP Vishnuvardhana said, more than any position, human values should be imbibed, which is important. Be disciplined, have respect and love towards the elders; only then, one can achieve anything in life, he said.

Take all the recruitment exams like banking, UPSC, KPSC and other exams. Like the adage ‘Prayatnam Sarva Sadhanam’, the efforts will bear fruits, one or the other day, he said.

Citing his own example, SP Vishnuvardhana said “I had an aim since my school days and started working towards achieving it. My father was a Police Officer, whom I adored as a model and centred  my focus on reaching the aim and eventually joined the Police Department.”

“After joining the service, one should not ignore their parents and never forget that ‘Public Service Is Our Aim,” advised SP Vishnuvardhana.

Vice-Chancellor of KSOU Prof. Sharanappa V. Halse said, the students should sharpen their intellectual ability and be agile in their work.

KSOU Registrar Prof. K.B. Praveena, who wished good luck to the candidates appearing for coaching, suggested them to be perseverant to reach the shore of success.

Dean of Study Centre Prof. Ramanatham Naidu, Finance Officer Prof. Niranjan Raj, Coordinator Jainahalli Sathyanarayana Gowda, Siddesh Honnur, Ganesh K.G. Koppal and others were present.
