Seth Shri Ghisulal Pitliya Memorial Cup: Winners of Mysore District Ranking Junior-level TT Tourney

Royal Table Tennis Centre (RTTC), Krishnamurthypuram, had organised ‘Seth Shri Ghisulal Pitliya Memorial Cup’ Mysore District Ranking Junior-level Table Tennis Tournament at Bhagini Seva Samaja, near Sarada Vilas College in Krishnamurthypuram here from Oct. 26 to 28.

Following are the winners and runners of various categories:

Winners — Mini Cadet – Boys: Shashank (Harsha Table Tennis Academy); Cadet – Girls: Avyaktha (Parent’s Table Tennis Academy); Cadet – Boys: H. Manyu (PTTA); Sub-Junior and Junior Girls: Greeshma Urs (RTTC); Sub-Junior and Junior Boys: A.S. Srihari (PTTA); Open Singles Women: Sowmya Urs (HTTA); Open Singles Men:  M.S. Karthik (Infosys BPM Limited, Mysuru).

Runners — Mini Cadet – Boys: Nishan P. Gowda (PTTA); Cadet Girls: Latha .P. Nayak (PTTA); Cadet Boys: M.P. Srinidhi (HTTA); Sub-Junior and Junior Girls: Niharika D. Mallur (HTTA); Sub-Junior Boys: Vaibhav (RTTC); Junior Boys: S. Harsha (PTTA); Open Singles Women: Greesham Urs (RTTC); Open Singles Men: Ullas Naik (RTTC).

N.R. Group of Companies Chairman R. Guru inaugurated the tournament in the presence of Mysore District Table Tennis Association (MDTTA) President Sunil L. Baliga, Seth Sri Ghisulal Pitliya Charitable Trust Managing Trustee Hemant Pitiliya, MDTTA representative M.N. Raghavendra and RTTC President G.N. Venkatesh.

Vijaya Vittala Education Institutions Hon. Secretary R. Vasudev Bhat, who was the chief guest, presented the awards to the winners during the valedictory function.

K.V. Krishnamurthy was the Chief Referee for the Tourney.
