Mysuru: As part of ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ marking the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the City BJP has organised several contests for school children at KSOU Convocation Hall in Muktagangothri campus on Hunsur road on Oct. 9.
Announcing this at a press meet, former Mayor Shivakumar said that the contests to promote pride about our country among students have already been held at 55 schools. Those who got selected in this, can participate in divisional contests. Also, those who could not take part earlier, can register on-the-spot at the venue at 9.30 am on Oct. 9, he said.
“For students of 5th to 7th standards, a drawing contest on topics such as ‘Water conservation, Plastic-free India, Viksit Bharat as visualised by children, Swachh Bharat etc; for students of 8th to 10th standards, a drawing and speech contest and for PUC students, a speech contest will be held,” he added.
