Sewage water menace on Renukacharya Temple Street

May 30, 2018

Renukacharya Temple Street (adjacent to Lakshmi Theatre and MCC office) was asphalted a few days before the Assembly elections. But the Cross Road, namely 4th Cross Kathwadipura Agrahara, was not asphalted at that time. This has resulted in difference in levels of the roads and during recent rains a lot of rain water got settled on this street making it difficult for the residents to enter their homes. Further, rainwater is mixed with drainage water as it is a low-lying area and lot of foul smell is emanating from it which would create health hazards. One of the SOM readers, who has sent this photo, said that despite the place being adjacent to the MCC office, authorities concerned have not taken any action to rectify the problem. Residents have urged the authorities to take steps to solve the problem at the earliest.
