March 28, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: MLA L. Nagendra distributed sewing machines to 30 poor women of SC/ST and other communities who were chosen as beneficiaries under Mysuru City Corporation’s 24:10 and 7.25 scheme grants, at a function held at Manjunathapura community hall here recently.

Speaking after distributing  the machines, MLA Nagendra said that like any other areas of the city, Manjunathapura has witnessed development. Construction of community hall, development of roads and underground drainages, drinking water and title deeds to houses have all been provided in the locality and if you still have any problems, inform me directly.

The MLA appealed voters to elect him in the forthcoming elections to the State Assembly to carry forward the development works in the area.

Corporator Ravindra, who too spoke on the occasion, said that a hi-tech bus stand and                                    a health centre will be provided for the benefit of the residents of Manjunathpura in the coming days.

“Efforts will be made to provide English training for students of class 1 to 5 and training in tailoring will be provided for those who are in need of it. Mysuru City Corporation has many schemes for the welfare of the poor and they must make use of such schemes,” said Ravindra.

MCC Assistant Commissioner Chandramma, local BJP leaders Venkataramu, Kavita, Govindu, Guru, Subramani, Saraswati, Shobha, Lakshmi, Vedamba and others were present at the function.
