Sexual assault case: Former Mayor demands arrest of Santro Ravi

January 6, 2023

Mysuru: Accusing Manjunath alias Santro Ravi of cheating a dalit girl and attempting to push her into flesh trade, former Mayor Purushotham had demanded the immediate arrest of Ravi and provide justice to the girl.

Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, the former Mayor said that Ravi had indulged in illegal activities from his student days and had cheated many girls.

Pointing out that Ravi had gone to jail in various cases, Purushotham said that another case has been filed against Ravi four days ago in Mysuru and questioned “why Ravi has not been arrested yet?”

Stating that Ravi had taken the names of many Ministers, IAS and IPS Officers during his conversation with others which is shocking and expressed doubts whether political leaders and officers were supporting Ravi in his illegal activities.

Former Mayor Purushotham has demanded Police authorities to arrest Ravi immediately and see that he (Ravi) does not get bail.
