Sexual harassment at parlour: Fact-Finding Committee meets victim

Mysuru: Following sexual harassment complaint at a Beauty Parlour and Spa in Bogadi here, which the Police raided on Dec.20 and arrested the owner (Rajesh), a Fact Finding Committee comprising N. Sumana of Shaktidhama, E. Rathirao, Maridandaiah Buddha and T.R. Nataraj of PUCL, G. Shanthi of Samatha, V. Lakshminarayan of Akhila Bharata Praja Vedike and Seema of Akhila Bharata Mahila Samskruthika Sangha, met the victim on Dec.23 and have collected information from her.

The Fact Finding Committee has stated that Rajesh was running a massage parlour at his saloon illegally and was forcing the victim to please the customers sexually.

Stating that the victim had named actors Mandya Ramesh and Sadhu Kokila of sexually harassing her during their visit to the saloon, the Committee has demanded immediate arrest of the actors and to take legal action against them.
