Shab-e-Barath observed in city

Muslim brethren observed Shab-e-Barath (Night of Forgiveness) in city on Tuesday night and prayed for their welfare and for  the departed souls of their near and dear ones. Special prayers were organised the whole night in which thousands offered Isha prayers at Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road in Lashkar Mohalla here. Hazarath Moulana Mufti Shamshul Huda, Khazi, Idare Shariya, Masjid-e-Azam, delivered a lecture on Fazilath Shabe-Barath. Later, Muslim brethren visited the burial grounds in the midnight and offered floral tributes to the departed souls.
