Mysuru: Masjid Azam Markaz Ahale Sunnath Jamath, Ashoka Road, Lashkar Mohalla,  celebrated Shab-e-Khadar on June 11 at the Masjid as part of Ramzan (26th fasting day) by conducting Namaz-e-Tarave. Moulana Mohd. Mufti Shamshul Huda Chisty, Khateeb & Qazi, Idhare Shariya, offered prayers.

Thousands of people from various parts of city attended the prayers at the Masjid which was open throughout the night.

Syed Gaffar, Member of Management Committee, felicitated Masjid Imam, Mouzan and staff. S.M. Syed Shafeeq, Secretary, proposed a vote of thanks. Karnataka State Wakf Board Administrator and MLA Tanveer Sait, Corporator Suhail Baig and others were present.

This was followed by Sehari programme which was attended by a large number of people.
