Mysore/Mysuru: The Editorial Board of JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, is all set to host SHABD-2024, their annual Art and Literary Fest. Scheduled for May 11 and 12, the event promises two days filled with creativity and collective celebration at JSS STU’s Golden Jubilee Bhavan.

Renowned lyricist, composer and director of contemporary Kannada cinema, Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad will inaugurate the event in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar, the Principal and the Coordinator.

The Fest will feature a variety of art competitions including Canvas Swapping, T-Shirt Designing, Rangoli and more. In the literature section, participants can engage in English and Kannada competitions such as Love Letter Writing, Quiz, Debate and many others.

SHABD is recognised as one of the largest Art and Literary Festivals organised by an Engineering College in Karnataka. The competitions are open to participants of all ages. There is no registration fees and on-the-spot registrations are also available. The total prize pool for all events amounts to Rs. 70,000.
